Unlike most other
language schools,
we offer French lessons
to small groups of
max. 6 students.

 

 

OUR COURSES

6 levels: Careful grouping of students based on individual
language skills.
 

• Semi-intensive courses:


• Evening course:

Beginner, Elementary 1, Elementary 2,
Intermediate 1,
Intermediate 2

Advanced

 
 

Semi-intensive Course

1 hour 30 minutes per day - 5 days per week

• Beginner: 8:45 a.m. - 10:15 a.m.

• Elementary 1: 10:45 a.m.- 12:15

• Elementary 2: 1:30 p.m.- 3:00 p.m.

• Intermediate 1: 3:15 p.m.- 4:45 p.m.

• Intermediate 2: 5:15 p.m.- 6:45 p.m.

Beginners must start on Monday of the first week of the course.
For the other levels, students can start every Monday.

     

Evening Course

2 hours per week

• Advanced: every Wednesday, 7:15 p.m. - 9:15 p.m.

For this course, students may start each week depending on availability.

 

OUR TEACHING METHOD

Our teachers are attentive to your questions and to your personal needs of learning, this help you learn in an effective and rapid way. Students are always encouraged to express themselves and ask questions.

Their dynamic and efficient teaching is based on :

• The use of up-to-date teaching videos.

• The study of real-life material.

• Lots of student participation in a warm and friendly
   environment.

We emphasize oral work although reading, grammar and written work are not neglected.
You will also learn about french life and culture.
 

RAPID PROGRESS

Working in small groups is intensive, and its effectiveness is further strengthened by doing 1½ hours of daily homework.

 

PROFESSIONAL TEACHING STAFF AT YOUR SERVICE

The Private Institute Verlaine Langue is recognized by the Ministry of Education, Academy of Paris. The school's teachers, who have linguistic degrees from the Sorbonne university, specialize in teaching French as a foreign language and have extensive experience.

 

OUR SCHOOL CERTIFICATES

For the semi-intensive course, there will be a test at the end of each 4 weeks session. Students who score 50% and over will receive the school's 'Certificat privé d'études de langue française'. All other students will receive a certificate to show that they have attended the course.

   

DELF B2    

If requested, we prepare students in the Wednesday advanced lesson for the DELF B2. The DELF, Diplôme d'Etudes de Langue Française, is a recognized diploma administered by the French Ministry of Education and accepted in 130 different countries.
